15.9.1. epcEdit Web site

The epcEdit Website entry opens your internet browser with the URL of the epcEdit web site.

15.9.2. Check License...

The Check License... entry displays the license key information dialog. This dialog contains information about the expiration date (if any) and can be used to order an epcEdit license or to install a new license key.

If your epcEdit license is not permanent, the dialog contains the number of days until your license key will expire. The Remind me again radio button can be selected to display this dialog automatically when epcEdit is started and there are less than the given number of dates to the the license expiration date. Selecting the Don't show this message again radio button will disable the automatic reminder function.

Pressing the Order Now button opens a web browser and displays the online order page on the epcEdit web site.

Clicking the Install License button will open a file selection dialog for selecting a license key file.

Pressing the Ok button will dismiss the dialog.

15.9.3. About

The About command displays a dialog with information about your version of epcEdit. Among other things, it displays the version number of epcEdit and the number of the license key that your received when you purchased your epcEdit license or when you downloaded the evaluation license from the internet.

The scrollable text box at the bottom of the dialog contains copyright information about 3rd-party modules that are used by epcEdit.

Tip: The very last line in this text box contains the location of the file containing your license key. You may need to access this information when upgrading you license or when you are installing a new license key.
